Hexylene Glycol is a colorless liquid. Hexylene Glycol is used as a solvent in detergency, metal working fluids, textiles & leather, paints & coatings, cosmetics, and fragrances. Hexylene Glycol acts as a replacement for glycol ethers. Hexylene Glycol is also an effective shrinkage reduction admixture (SRA) for mortar and concrete. Hexylene Glycol is used as a solvent, reagent, or coupling agent in chemical synthesis. It is used as a reagent for functionalized boronic esters and vinyl boronates.
