Glycol Ether EB is a colorless liquid with an ether-like odor. Glycol Ether EB is used in wax strippers, cleaners, degreasers, inks, paints, coatings, varnishes, enamels, and lacquers. Glycol Ether EB is used as a solvent for coatings resins like alkyd, phenolic, maleic, epoxy, and nitrocellulose resins. Glycol Ether EB also acts as an ingredient in antimicrobial agents, adhesives, stabilizers, defoamers, drilling stabilizers, oil slick dispersants, and water- and oil-based fracturing fluids.
