Description

Perchloroethylene (PERC) is a colorless liquid. Perchloroethylene (PERC) is used as a dry cleaning solvent for natural and artificial fibers, as a degreasing detergent for metals, in textile finishing, in extraction processes, in typewriter correction liquids, to clean mining equipment, and in cleaning/duplicating film. Perchloroethylene (PERC) is also employed as a chemical intermediate for fluorocarbons ( HFC-125 and HFC-134a) and to prepare formulations for adhesives, sealants, and coatings.
