Description

D-Limonene is a clear colorless liquid with a pleasant lemon-like odor. D-Limonene is used as a flavoring agent in food items, fragrances in cosmetics, and as a botanical insecticide to repel and kill insects. D-Limonene is employed as a non-toxic solvent in oleochemical, wax, resin, paint, and glue industries, in analytical chemistry, and in the extraction of lipids from microalgae. D-Limonene is used clinically to dissolve cholesterol-containing gallstones and to relieve gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) and heartburn.
